ABOUT ME

My name is Jordan Markowski and I've been training and working border collies for ~5 years -- constantly learning and improving along the way.

In addition to seeking out practical opportunities for my dogs to work (grazing projects, brandings etc.) I also compete in Open in USBCHA, MSSA and NCA trials across North America. Though relatively new to competing, my dogs and I have had some success in some big trials -- and plenty of lessons to learn from too.

I believe all working border collies should work any livestock that's put in front of them, and so all my dogs work cattle, sheep, goats and anything else that comes along (within reason). I don't agree with the idea that border collies should just work one kind of stock.

I also believe forward, confidence and power are the most important traits a border collie can have -- and that these characteristics should be the focus of any good program.

THE R&R PACK

I currently run two border collies and they work on cattle, sheep, goats, chickens... you name it. They were both raised (from 12 weeks onward) and trained by me.

They are half brothers who share the same dam (Bobby), but vary in terms of their working style owing to their different sires.
